This plant is rather massive (again). It can be found in unpleasant places like

'close to the sun' desert planets. Because of this, there are no real leaves - instead all the 'green' parts are covered by thick bark like layers which protect the plant from the deadly radiation.
It also has a few thorns - because you never know who comes along... looking for fire wood. ;-)
