The first manufacturer was unable to complete the print at all. Modern Blacksmith was able to complete it. The part was very large (8 inch diameter hemisphere) and complex (with 24 integral special features). Modern Blacksmith did an adequate job of keeping me updated about how long it would take to complete the work, although it did take a month to receive the part. The part was in PETG, which can be especially hard to print without all kinds of whiskers and cotton candy like filaments. And the shapes required lots of support material. But Modern Blacksmith did a really good job of cleaning up all those problems in the final print that they sent us. Good attention to Quality!
Justin has come through with another BEAUTIFUL Print AGAIN!!! I've always wanted a Original 70s Battlestar Galactica Laser Pistol Prop and now with Justin's Help and Expertise I have one!!! I already have the programmable sound circuit, power source, switch and sound file the rest is prep work and paint!!!
